Leading takes work

 

I believe that all leadership is shared.

No matter our position or job title, and regardless of what the org-chart communicates, we all share the task of leading the people and organizations we serve.

The question we must ask ourselves is this: how do we share the space we lead?

This work of leading always begins with leading ourselves.

My hope and work as a leader is to cultivate shared spaces of leadership that begin with a deep commitment to relationships, humility, and self-awareness.

To share the space we lead better.
